Storm Panels

ALUMINUM PANEL

Description:

A cost effective means of storm protection made of .050″ light weight corrugated aluminum. These panels overlay one another as wide as needed with a maximum height of 12′ in some cases.

The most commonly used storm panel installation is Vertical mount, in which you need a recessed opening with a flat area around the window or door, with no obstacles.

The second kind of storm panel installation is Horizontal. This method is preferred when there is a sill protruding on the bottom of the window or doorways.

Description:

Clear panels offer all the features of metal panels. You get the strength and protection plus you don’t get that closed in feeling. They are lighter than metal panels, easier and safer to install. They allow natural light and afford you and your family the protection you need. In many instances, depending on your situation, they may be left on the opening during the entire hurricane season.

  • Our 650 series panels are the highest-quality clear panels on the market.
  • These panels have been approved by the most stringent Miami-Dade and Florida Building Code missile-impact tests.
